ETHNIC COMMUNITIES COUNCIL OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA INC.
ABOUT US
The Ethnic Communities Council of Western Australia is a peak body organisation that advocates for universal multicultural policy and practices that inform and are adopted by all levels of Australian government; local, Western Australian and Commonwealth.
A culturally and ethnically dynamic membership resides at the heart of our organisation which began in 1975 as the International Communities Association.
Over this time ECCWA has continually supported new and emerging communities settling in Western Australia by providing information about their rights and responsibilities, available services and advocating to government decision makers on their behalf.
Our peak body experience has placed us in the unique position of being Western Australia’s premier resource for providing sustainable, accurate and up to the minute data and records on our State’s rapidly growing multicultural society.
